Materials and finish

PLA, printed at 0.16 mm — Printed in matte PLA at a 0.16 mm layer, which is the height at which the wall texture stops reading as layers.
Matte, low-sheen surface — Finished to avoid a glossy plastic look and to keep fingerprints from reading.
Gold band, printed not fitted — The metallic collar is a second polymer changed mid-print, continuous with the wall. There is no metal ring and nothing is glued on.

A dining table, a console or a desk, indoors, with dried or artificial stems — or a slim glass insert when the flowers are cut.

Use and care

Indoors — Prolonged sun and frost change the material. This piece is made for indoors; an outdoor version can be produced in a different polymer, which is a design conversation rather than a substitution.
Water and cut flowers — A printed wall is not sealed and is not watertight. Dried and artificial stems go straight in; cut flowers go into a slim glass or plastic insert dropped inside, never into the piece itself.

The ridges do not wrap the column, they climb it: each starts low on one side and leaves at the rim on the other, so the silhouette changes as you move past. The matte wall, dense under the hand, simply becomes gold for the last few millimetres. Three heights; empty, each is still the thing on the table. Cut flowers need a slim glass insert.
