Built around the experience, not the piece
The brief is rarely "we need a holder". It is usually that something valuable is being presented badly, or a process is losing time. We start from the outcome you need and design the piece that produces it — which is why our commercial work does not begin with a catalogue of generic hardware.

Prototyping and limited runs
Physical iteration is usually faster than another round of opinions. We produce evaluation pieces you can hold, test and show internally, then refine the design before any commitment to volume. For products with genuine but modest demand, a limited run is often the right end state rather than a step towards tooling.
Quantities and repeat production
We are a studio, not a volume factory, and we would rather be accurate than impressive. We handle one-off pieces, evaluation batches and limited production runs, and we can repeat a run from an approved design. For genuinely high volumes we will tell you honestly when injection moulding or another route is the better commercial answer.

Confidentiality and IP
Commercial briefs, files and prototypes are treated as confidential by default. We will sign your NDA, and ownership of the resulting design is agreed in writing before development begins. Nothing from a client project appears in our collection or communication without written permission.

Parts we design and produce are made in polymer. Glass, metal, candles, electronics and hardware can be built into a piece as purchased components.
Commercial questions
How do commercial projects usually start?
With a short brief about the outcome you need — not a specification. From there we scope the design work and give you a fixed price before anything begins.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes. Commercial projects are confidential by default and we are happy to work under your own agreement.
Who owns the resulting design?
That is agreed in writing before development starts. For proprietary product development, ownership normally transfers to you on completion.
What volumes can you handle?
One-off pieces through to limited production runs. If your volume genuinely calls for injection moulding, we will tell you rather than take the order and overpromise.
Can we reorder later, and at what price?
Yes. Once a design is approved it stays on file, so a repeat run starts from a known quantity and a known price rather than a fresh quotation.
What are the lead times?
Development is usually a few weeks depending on how many decisions need your side; a repeat run from an approved design is much faster. Firm dates are workable when we know about them early — tell us the real one.
Can you work from our existing CAD?
Yes. Send it through the Your design route and we will assess manufacturability and propose any changes needed before quoting.
Can pieces carry our branding?
Yes. Logos, names and numbering can be part of the geometry itself rather than a label applied afterwards, which is both more durable and considerably better looking.
Are parts made from metal?
Parts we design and produce are polymer. Metal and glass elements are purchased components integrated into the design where a piece calls for them.
