Delivery
How long a piece takes to make, when it leaves the studio, how long it travels and what delivery costs.
Nothing is taken from stock. Each piece is produced for your order, so the time to your door is three parts added together: production, handover to the carrier and transit. The production time for each design is shown on its product page, in working days.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding Italian public holidays. Every time on this page is Italian time (CET/CEST).
Production starts once your payment has cleared — and, for a personalised piece, once you have approved the proof. If all of that is in place by 12:00 on a working day, that day counts as the first day of production. After 12:00, production starts on the next working day.
A piece finished by 12:00 on a working day is handed to the carrier the same day. A piece finished after 12:00 is handed over on the next working day.
Once the carrier has collected the parcel, typical delivery times are: mainland Italy, 2–4 working days; Sicily, Sardinia and the smaller islands, 2–5 working days; other EU countries, 3–7 working days; outside the EU, 5–15 working days, plus however long customs takes. These are the carriers’ usual times, not guarantees.
Add together the production time on the product page, the handover and the transit time above. Your order confirmation gives the estimate for your order, and that is the one to rely on. If you need a piece by a particular date, tell us before you order: a date is binding on us only when we have agreed to it in writing.
Delivery is not included in the price; it is added in the cart. To the Italian mainland it is worked out from the boxes your order fills: a box takes three pieces up to 8.5 cm across or two up to 12.5 cm, and a wider piece travels in a box of its own. One piece costs €13.10 to send, two sharing a box €15.60 and three €18.10, VAT included, and the cart shows the exact figure before you order. Delivery to Sicily, Sardinia, the smaller islands, the Venice lagoon and other countries is confirmed by email before you pay. Express services, a higher insured value or a delivery appointment are available on request and quoted on top. You can also collect your order free of charge: in Verzuolo, Savigliano, Busca, Racconigi or Fossano in front of the Comune, in Saluzzo in front of Caffè Principe, or in Cuneo in Piazza Galimberti: choose it in the cart, and we agree the day and time with you once the order is ready and paid in full.
For deliveries outside the European Union, import duty, local VAT or sales tax and customs clearance fees are set by the destination country and payable by you on arrival. They are never included in our prices or our delivery quotes.
We ship to the address in your order confirmation, so please check it. Once a parcel has been collected we cannot redirect it. If a delivery fails and the parcel comes back to us, sending it again is chargeable.
Please check the parcel when it arrives. If anything is damaged or missing, tell us within 7 days, with photographs of the piece and of the packaging — the carrier needs them for a claim — and we will remake or refund it at no cost to you. Your legal rights do not depend on this deadline; telling us promptly simply makes it quicker to put right.
If a delay is on our side we tell you as soon as we know, with a new date. If a piece has not been delivered by the date we agreed, you can give us a reasonable extra period; if we miss that as well, you can cancel the order and we refund everything you paid, delivery included.
