Start with your idea
The studio produces parts additively in premium polymer. That is a production method, not an identity: it is chosen when it is the right route to the piece, and we will say so when another route serves you better. Parts are designed for the process — wall thicknesses, orientation, assembly and finishing are decided as part of the design, not discovered afterwards.
Parts we manufacture are polymer. Selection is driven by the use: mechanical load, heat exposure, UV and outdoor conditions, contact requirements, surface finish and dimensional stability. Metal, glass and electronic elements can be integrated as purchased components. We do not print metal, and large pieces are engineered as assemblies rather than presented as impossible single parts.

Parts designed and produced by the studio are premium polymer. Any metal or glass elements are purchased components integrated into the design.
Yes. Photographs with reference dimensions, or the part itself where practical, are usually enough to begin.
Yes. Non-manifold geometry, inverted normals, self-intersections and thin walls are part of the standard file assessment.
It depends on geometry, material and orientation, so we will not quote a headline number that flatters us. Where a dimension is functional we confirm it by measurement on the produced part and tell you what is realistic before production.
Surface treatment is decided as part of the design rather than after the fact, and is specified in the quotation — so you know what the piece will look and feel like before it is made, not when it arrives.
Tell us the actual contact and we will answer specifically. Many pieces are designed so that contact happens against a purchased glass, ceramic or stainless insert, which is usually the honest solution rather than a claim about the polymer.
Yes, with material selected for UV and temperature exposure. Tell us the environment — full sun, frost, salt air — and we will specify accordingly.
Beyond a certain envelope a part is engineered as an assembly with designed joints and fixings rather than presented as an impossible single piece. We will tell you which applies and where the joints would fall.
No. Parts we produce are polymer. Metal elements in a finished project are purchased components integrated into the design.
One-off through to limited runs. For genuinely high volumes we will tell you when moulding is the better commercial answer, even though that means turning down the work.
Yes, and files are treated as confidential by default whether or not one is signed.
