Replacement parts for things that are no longer made
A bracket that snapped, a knob nobody stocks any more, a fitting for a machine whose manufacturer has gone. If the part can be measured or photographed, it can usually be redrawn and produced.
The problem this solves
Most things are thrown away because of one small part. The appliance, the cabinet, the machine is otherwise sound — but the component that failed was moulded for a product line that ended, and nobody stocks it. Redrawing that one part is very often cheaper than replacing everything around it.
Furniture fittings
Shelf pins, drawer runners, hinge covers, feet and connectors for furniture whose maker no longer supplies spares.
Appliance and machine parts
Knobs, clips, guides, spacers and housings on domestic and workshop equipment that still works apart from this.
Fittings with no standard size
Brackets, adapters and inserts where nothing off the shelf fits and the alternative is modifying the thing it goes into.
What the studio does
- Redraw the part
- Modelled from your measurements, your photographs or the part itself, and resolved far enough to be produced rather than only rendered.
- Fix what broke it
- A part that failed once tends to fail again in the same place. Where a wall was too thin or a rib was missing we say so and propose the change, rather than faithfully reproducing a weakness.
- Produce and measure it
- Made in polymer chosen for the load, heat and exposure the part actually sees, with functional dimensions confirmed on the finished piece rather than assumed from the model.

The more of these you have the less has to be inferred — but one clear photograph with a ruler beside it is usually enough to start.

One part, or a handful
A single replacement
The common case, and a perfectly good reason to get in touch. The part is drawn once and produced once, and the model is kept — so a second can be made years later without starting again.
A small batch
Where the same part has failed across several units — a set of chairs, a fleet of machines, a run of fittings — it is produced as a repeatable batch with consistent dimensions across all of them.

- Any glass, stainless steel, candle or fastener in this design is a bought-in part integrated into it — the studio does not produce metal.

Assessment
We confirm what can be measured, what has to be inferred and what the part has to withstand. If a replacement is not the right answer, we say so before you have spent anything.

The part is drawn, and you get a price and a production window before anything is made.

Produce, check, send
Produced, dimensionally checked against the drawing, and delivered.
Where we work
The studio is in Italy and every part is made here. Delivery within mainland Italy is included in the price, up to €10 of carriage per order; the islands and addresses elsewhere in Europe are quoted with your confirmation. A small part travels well and cheaply in a padded envelope, in both directions.

Parts we design and produce are made in polymer. Glass, metal, candles, electronics and hardware can be built into a piece as purchased components.
Questions people ask first
Can you copy a part that is still on sale?
We reproduce parts that are no longer available, and parts that have to differ from what is sold. We do not reproduce a protected component that is still on the market. Tell us what it belongs to and we will say plainly which of those it is.
What if I cannot measure it accurately?
Photographs with a ruler in frame get us most of the way, and we will tell you which dimensions we still need before anything is drawn. Where a dimension is functional we would far rather ask than guess.
Will it be as strong as the original?
It will be polymer, so it will behave like polymer. For a part under real load we will tell you honestly whether that is enough — and where it is not, whether a redesign or a purchased metal component is the better answer.
Do you print in metal?
No. Parts we produce are polymer. Metal elements in a finished piece are purchased components integrated into the design.
