Three heights: 150, 200 and 240 mm. The width has not been measured off the model yet, and the studio would rather leave it out than print a number read off a photograph — the 240 is roughly a third as wide as it is tall, and stands on a foot narrower again.

Materials and finish

Premium polymer — Designed and produced by the studio in polymer selected for the use, not for appearance alone.
Matte, low-sheen surface — Finished to avoid a glossy plastic look and to keep fingerprints from reading.

Made for

A dining table, a shelf, a bedside or a hotel room, indoors, with a few dried or artificial stems standing at the angle the hood sets — a slim glass insert when the flowers are cut.

Use and care

Indoors — Prolonged sun and frost change the material. This piece is made for indoors; an outdoor version can be produced in a different polymer, which is a design conversation rather than a substitution.
Water and cut flowers — A printed wall is not sealed and is not watertight. Dried and artificial stems go straight in; cut flowers go into a slim glass or plastic insert dropped inside, never into the piece itself.

Standing over it you cannot see in: the taller leaf curls across the opening, so the piece reads as a closed silhouette. Sit down, or put a stem in, and it opens. The throat is narrow and tilted the way the hood leans, so three or four stems stand where you set them; the plain front panel is where a name or a date is formed as the piece is made. Three heights; cut flowers need a slim glass insert.
